{Character Information}

-Saskia is of the grulla colouring, however her base colouring is verging more on the dark gray of the shade. Her rib cage has an usual marking of darker hairs that appear to create a "tiger" stripe marking on both sides. The usual zebra markings on the back of her limbs are there as well.The black points are not nearly as prominent as some other grullas due to her dark colour, however they are still there.

-Her mane is rather on the longer side, with what is only easily described as a blonde layer on top. This blonde layer is sun-bleached, yet healthy looking. Her tail has a similar blonde layer, however this is a lot less noticeable.

-A thick blaze adorns her face, that tapers off to the left side of her muzzle. All four of her feet are adorn with small white socks that just go over the fetlock.

-She stands at currently at 15hh, but she should mature around 15.3hh by the time she will reach the age of 5.
-Her over all frame is athletic.

Saskia is a very sweet matured mare, that bursts with enthusiasm. She tries hard to live life to the fullest, and enjoys every aspect of it. Yet she's a fighter. She loves nothing more than to spar.

Her favourite things are running, now sparring, and being a jokester when she starts to become comfortable around those she has met. She's loyal to a fault, and follows orders to a T.

(I apologize for the lack of her personality. I'm trying hard to develop her through role-play so I don't really want to give her tooooo much, just bare bones)

Prior to "Isilme":
Saskia grew up in a heard of three; her mother, her father, and her. They lived in a nook in the far corners of an unnamed land (which is, unbeknown to Saskia, still Isilme) peacefully, and united.

Saskia's parents had the sternest of rules. She was not allowed out of the small meadow. She was to accompany either Mother or Father if she needed drink, and she were to let them know of her where-abouts, and her doings frequently.
Saskia blamed it on the fact she was the only child they could conceive, as the dotted on her as so. She followed these rules with the utmost of respect, 'til the day her parents died.

How, Saskia is unaware. But she'll never forget that day, even to her last breath. Saskia wanted to run. She longed for a good romp, and on her own. She was, almost 3 whole years old now! So she decided she wouldn't let Mother and Father know and she went for just the briefest of runs. That was her intention anyways. Saskia played, and played until her feet carried her to the edge of the meadow and to the threshold of the forest. Daring as she felt, the adrenaline pumping in her veins, Saskia thought it safe just to step into the shadow of those tall oaks and pines. And she did! For only a moment! She swears it to the day, in her sleep.

Upon returning to where her parents grazed, she found them...bled to death. Fearing it was her fault for being disobedient, she sobbed. And for that full summer, fall and winter, she remained with the decaying carcasses of her parents, until they were no more. She protected their bodies with her own life, fighting off mutt and bird with tooth and hoof.

When they were nothing more than the earth themselves again, that was when she left her nook and made it to...
