Adalwulf is a mutt, a cross between Shire and Lippizzaner. He stand at rough 16.3 hh and is a faded gray color; silver, it would seem. Adalwulf has the slender grace of the Spanish blood combined with the muscle and power of the Shire. His body is that of a slightly lighter, and smaller, draft horse. His mane and tail are long and soft, silken, a ghastly white color.
His eyes are pale brown, looking almost gray in certain lights. A sort of gray-brown really.

Adalwulf has changed much since coming to Isilme. Most noticeable is his ambition, which doesn't really exist anymore, and that he is generally more kind.

--> A Wolf Is Born
Okay. Time to reveal some stuff, babies.
  I was born on a human farm. I’m not really proud of that, but hey, it’s not much we can do about were we are born. We can, however, decide how and where to live our lives – although I didn’t understand that until much later. Whatever. I was raised fairly by my people, and they did well by me. My mother did well by me, she loved me through all the years when I didn’t deserve it. The rest of the world didn’t do well by me. They destroyed me, they broke me and they tamed me, and they made me a coward. I don’t know who I hate the most, myself or them? It doesn’t matter now anyway, but sometimes it’s hard to let go.
  ”My” people were fair, but they had little time for their mare and her son. I was left to be bullied by other colts and young men. Whenever my people visited me and my mother, they shook their heads and looked sad, but they couldn’t do anything. They were old. I was young – too young. The colts bullied me, and soon I had no friends among them for I never stood up for them. I always turned tail and ran, or lied, or turned on them to gain favor with the masses. It never worked, you might’ve figured that out by now, but I was one helluva insecure guy. And it was around this time that my so-called training began, and I was way too young for that too.
  The men were rough. They were cruel. They forced me to do unspeakable things, horrible things; they marked me as their slave by dominating me. At first I fought it, but then, I gave in. The colts taunted me, and it was driving me up the walls. I hurt my mother several times, physically, because they asked me to, but she refused to stop smiling and loving me. It made me so angry, why couldn’t she see what a wicked, cowardly, stupid son I was?! Why couldn’t she see I was unworthy of her love?!
  It reached a new extreme one day. The colts made me do the worst thing I’ve ever done – I tore my mother’s eyes out, leaving hollow sockets to stare at me instead. Still she refused to stop smiling and loving me, and I was so sad at what I was putting her through without fighting, without standing up for myself or the ones I cared about… I don’t know which was worst – the men, or the colts. I just hated all of them, and one day, I lost it. Completely.
  I ran. I fled. Just like that. I left it all behind.
  I traveled across the world. And I came to Isilme, my mind wiped clean of its past traumas. I was ready for another start.

--> The Wolf Comes Padding
When Adalwulf first came to Isilme, he didn’t know what to do. He drifted around for a while, before seeking out the Equine Valley – and he came just in time to witness the Unicorn Tides try to invade it. He stayed, watching the battle, and in the end, the Tides lost. Pleased with this, Wulf approached the Valley to be accepted into it. A young blind filly, Kaida, greeted him at the borders and he engaged in a game of tag with her. Black Minx was not too pleased by this when she came, Akor shadowing her like a dog, but she accepted him into the herd anyway. He faded into the background, living his life quietly until a sickness broke out. No one acted like they should, racism was forgotten, replaced by mindless violence and breeding. He kept himself well hidden, and only ventured forth again when the whole thing died down.
  His service was soon required though, for they were going to war against the Pegasus Cliffs. Adalwulf beat Azureus in his challenge, but the end result was a tie – they gained nothing. Bitter about this, Wulf headed back to the Valley to heal his many wounds. As he was resting by the lake, a rock fell out from behind the waterfall and opened the mouth to a cave. Somewhere around here, he was promoted to Head Warrior. His curiosity aroused, he ventured into it with Black Minx on his heels. Together they followed the tunnel to its end, and it opened up into a small chamber. In the middle of it was the golden statue of a rearing horse. Minx accidentally pushed on him too hard, and he toppled the statue over. It fell to the rock floor and shattered, breaking the magic spell that had lured them there. Adalwulf panicked, and ran outside, falling over on the rocks and almost drowning in the lake. But, he survived and together they went to the Tome Guardian. While Wulf was bleeding, almost hanging over Minx, the Guardian gave them a riddle on how to solve the quest – they were to find three orbs and bind them back into the statue with dragon blood. They left. Wulf turned Six years old in Fall year 11.
  When he came back to the Valley, he found a green dragon egg. An orb also started to follow him around, buzzing about his head and annoying him. Lesse, accompanied by her blue dragon Rath, came by and taught him of dragons. Everything was happy for a while, until his Green hatched. Lesse and Rath came by again, and now he swallowed the orb by mistake. As the magic settled on his soul, something strange happened which scared Rath – the dragon tried to blast his face off, and he accidentally harmed him. As Aysun came by to see what was happening, they decided to go to the Manor and get something for his face and for Rath’s wounds. When they came there, he fainted and dropped down on the floor. Magic worked its fingers on him, erasing all scars – the Tome Guardian hated him even more for it, but decided he liked Aysun and revealed to her what her powers were.
  Adalwulf then decided to travel to the Gateway, a place he had not lingered in. When he came there, he found two Equine twins – Aislin and Aiedail - and invited them home to the Valley. They accepted.
  When he came back to the Valley, he decided he had to talk with Minx. He didn’t find her, however Aysun found him and asked him if he’d seen her. Obviously he hadn’t – but then Akor, looking like death itself, came by and saved them. He said she had been stolen by the Pegasus Cliffs. Wulf decided they would go rescue her one day. Then, he went into the heart of the Valley again. He met a stallion called Vaude, who was talking with Lesse. Vaude started gaying on him, and to his own surprise he found it was quite ... pleasant. Lesse left soon after, believing Wulf would punish him for trying to flirt with a Pegasus mare. That wasn’t exactly what happened. Vaude found a red dragon egg lying in the grass, but it was temporarily forgotten as the two stallions had some mature fun with each other.
  After his little encounter with Vaude, he met a healthier Akor again. The twins were also there, but he ignored them mostly. They decided to go get Minx home – Akor set off to do it, while Wulf received a message through Ramoth, the golden dragon. He was to find rogue or outcast dragons, for the sacrifice to fix the broken statue was to be sealed in dragon blood. Shortly after, the Cliffs stole Requiem – he tried to steal her back, but failed.
  His wanderings brought him once more to the Gateway, where he found the mare Sunchaser and brought her home to the Valley. Upon his return, he found a lone stallion wandering his home – without much further ado, he accepted Gavin into the herd, not aware that he in fact was an Equine-Unicorn hybrid.
  Some time passed, and magics released Minx from her role as prisoner. She returned to the Valley, accompanied by Akor. Akor had shown his true blood and magically been allowed to re-grow his previously torn out wings. Wulf decided he wasn’t too bad for being a Pegasus, and accepted him still. Somewhere around this Black Velvet, Minx’s twin, showed up and he accidentally mistook her for his Leader. Quite embarrassing.
  Time to get something done. Adalwulf, tormented by his mission, went to the Fever Creek. While basking in the hot waters, Kaemon, a stallion previously of the Valley, showed up. He had since switched alliance, residing with Oblivion now – he was the enemy. Kaemon had a dragon, a white small thing called Akira. Even though it pained him greatly, Wulf did the horrible deed of kidnapping the white dragon. He ran with the two dragons back to the Valley, deeply disturbed and sad – Kaemon chased him all the way there, but he never caught up. The Valley had since the time of the statue’s breaking been in a state of hellish havoc. As he returned to his home, it was aflame and raining fire and ash. The three orbs had been found by Black Minx, Sunchaser and Requiem, and the dragon was now held captive. They entered the cave with the broken statue, and Wulf slayed the dragon, crushing her small head beneath his large hooves. As Nieque appeared in the cave to bless them or something equally ridiculous, Wulf fled the scene only to be encountered by a challenge.
  Oblivion was invading. He fought the large beast, and lost. The Valley was lost. Mad with grief and rage he ran out into the winter, where he was eventually found by Black Minx and Akor. Together they plotted to take the land back, before they were called to a meeting by Mesecoth, their new ‘Leader’. Bah. He listened with half an ear before going to the Gateway, where he found a stallion called Michael. They sparred, Wulf seeking deeper into insanity, and then he recruited him as a Warrior.
  The time had come. They challenged Oblivion not only for the Valley, but also for the Mystic Woodlands. This time he won against the black beast, and the Valley was freed. They also managed to capture the Woodlands, which where handed to Akor. As he was basking in this new glory, Gavin returned home to the Valley. Kwennoir, a mare of Oblivion, greeted him just as Wulf came along. He didn’t quite like her, but was saved from disaster by Black Minx and Sylvanas Windrunner, a Unicorn who had aided them in the revolt. He decided to just slink off after that, as Black Minx called together a herd meeting.

* Met Oblivion in the Valley as he came as their prisoner

* Went to the TG to get treatment for an abscess in his hoof; he was to soak it in unicorn urine for one hour and then take some with him back to the TG
* Met Nantan, a Unicorn, in Seronia; she would give him unicorn urine if he bred with her. He agreed.
* Went with Nantan to the Cape; bred with her. The result was Brendan, Wulf's dirty little secret.
* Healed his abscess and gave TG some piss
* Brought Sage home from the Gateway
* Met Valverde in the Gateway
* Told Vance to guard Oblivion, and then went with Requiem, Leila and Gideon to invade the Cliffs
* Ended up fighting Scream; won
* Came back to the Valley, found out Vance had been killed by Oblivion
* Went mad, went to the Gateway and met Celeste. Took her.
* Found Zodiac in the Glacial Wall, took him
* Demoted Tallow when she whined and tried to turn him against Gideon. Misery confronted him about running from his problems, and he told her about Akira.
* Bred with Requiem, and promoted her to Lead Mare
* Found Aysun in the Seronia Dreamscape, where Morgue was beating her up. Rescued her together with Todou
* Was confronted by Nieque for his sexual involvement with Zodiac. Told Nieque he would beat the crap out of Zodiac and blamed it all on magic. Then he decided to invade the Cliffs
* On his way to the Cliffs, Sylvanas came and told him of Lesse's death. The Woodlands aided them in the invasion, where Wulf scored a default win against Divine-in-panther-form
* They won the Cliffs, and Wulf handed them to Gideon
* Went down in the Valley, greeted Minx who had returned
* Told Misery to practice more and then ask for Warrior rank - recommended by Gideon to give this verdict
* Called a herd meeting and announced ranks and their victory, but then Nieque came and told him to go and fight Zodiac
* So back up in the Cliffs and beat on Zodiac; won
* Winter Wonderland, attended Stephen's storytelling
* Bred with Aera, and produced Fardray
* Nidhöggr gave her Bronze egg to Gunslinger

His dragon, Níðhöggr.
can be written as "Nidhoggr"

The name is pronounced "Ni(e)th-högg-ur", and is the name of the dragon in Norse mythology. The name means "Malice Striker". Originally male, but who cares. Wulf named her this because of the way she attacked a stunned rabbit; it was a malicious striking. Malice Striker.
Níðhöggr isn't exactly a small dragon. She isn't really bulky, but she's got a lot of muscle on her slender limbs. When full grown, her shoulder will be close to 6 hands, and from the tip of her nose to the tail she'll be some 4-6 feet; this sounds bigger than she looks, because she's quite slender, and her neck and tail probably make up for half of her length. Her wingspan is rather gigantic, close to three yards.
Her color is green, a deep shade of it, and her eyes are normally golden but change with her mood. She's got two horns and some "spikes" along her neck and down her back. Pretty much a war-based girl, but not really mentally strong on her own; together with Wulf she is brave, aggressive and strong - without him, she is lost and confused.
Her mate is Israfel, the bronze of Requiem. If you touch him, you've touched your last dragon - Nidhöggr is extremely protective of him, and very jealous.

Golden; Normal. Curious, happy.
Purple; Dark - excited. Light - afraid.
Black; Angry. Probably hungry too. Adrenaline.
Silver; Sad, lonely.
Blue; Terrified/Panic. The lighter shade, the more so.
Green; Worried.

His magic;
Dark type ability
He has a sort of poison that he can produce, and this poison is scalding and burning. It's in his saliva, and will probably hurt quite a lot to be bitten with.

DarkxFire hybrid ability
If his dragon's fire comes in contact with his poison spit, it will cause an explosive, long-burning flame.

There is a melancholy in my soul. A sorrowful lament, unheard, untouched, and hidden. For even the greatest can be tormented and anxious, the pressure of leadership, ambition and dreams weighing down upon their souls, and each new burden a new note in the melancholic lament that entomb our souls. And when I am alone, and gaze upon the stars, this sorrow fill my being and the dreadful despair fill my body with that choking sensation of failure and panic. When I gaze upon the stars, I might even allow tears to escape, a lessening of the lament, shortening it with a few notes; one, for each tear.
But alas, if there was an escape, to be able to stand in the midst of it all, laughing carelessly, and joining the mirth whole-heartedly. No, instead, I must stand at the sidelines and watch them rejoice, while my soul scream its silent despair and my being fall into the deepest pits - and I smile, a smile of longing and fondness, but I am cut off from their joy.
And when night falls again, and I am lonely once more, I gaze upon the stars, those beautiful, far away, untouched and free stars, and shed some tears, once more lessening the neverending lament of sorrow, shortening the haunting song with a few notes; one, for each tear.
